I search and I find nothing
From where i stand I see nothing
That's how it's described
The feeling is absolute
It overwhelms my being
A cloak of somber shadows
Surrounds me
Clinging to my every movement
It impairs my judgement
And my ability to breathe
I need to breathe
Although there is life all around me
I can't find it in myself
I've searched and longed deeply for it
In the pit of my soul
But there is nothing
Nothing but a black hole
