The Elegy
There is this gap in my heart
That I can not seem to fill.
I wish that I was there in his final moments-
When things were perfectly still.
Believe it or not
We did not have a chance to say goodbye.
So when I heard of this reunion
All I wanted to do was cry.
He lived his life
In a tangle of remorse,
Trying to figure out ways
He could help out people, of course.
Everyday was a new journey
Waiting to be uncovered.
And once gotten to the end...
It was only to be the truth to be discovered.
So, do not stop when you're tired,
Stop when you are done.
And live throughout the whole experience
To reflect the fact, that it was fun.
Reshad, my friend
Your image is all, but over
We have your stories to speak of
With your hand on our shoulder.
