Dark Hour
Between the two the words so scathing
 All the temper tightly wound
No one knows what’s restless, bathing
In this cold night’s siren sound

In their heart the bold thing twists
 Distinguished by this deathly flower
 Frightful devils sheathed in mist
Creep up on us this dark hour

Once ago their love was sweet
Now it’s rage they can’t contain
Pray to God we won’t repeat
What will be washed away with rain
