I flew today
Yes that’s what I say
I rose up into the sky
And kissed the roads goodbye
In a plane so little
When the propeller started it shook a little
The moment we were air born
Gravity’s hands were torn
Weightless I felt
Strapped in tight by my belt
I zoomed off into a highway that would never be crowed
Stop lights and one ways I doubted
The world is mine to see
Up in the clouds I am truly free
Gazing down my problems seem so small
As do the buildings that used to be tall
Here there is nothing wrong
The skies are where I belong
