Broken Pieces
Something soft is under my feet. My feet sink in. They are wet, and now dry. I’m on the beach, and my eyes are looking for treasures. I focus and pause, see it and take quick steps. Swiftly I grab it, holding it up to the sunshine, eyeing it carefully. Yes, it is, it’s Sea Glass! Then I look beyond where I stand and see an array of them. When I collect them all they fit together beautifully like all the different colored pieces of a puzzle.
Once you have taken hold of them, if you are not careful they will fall back into scattered pieces on the sand. So cherish nature’s art, and you might find the one piece that’s missing from your broken piece world.

I go to Cape Cod a lot in the summer and I love looking for Sea Glass so it just came to me.
