Never Right
When you shut the door,
You opened up so much more.
 I guess it wasn't true,
I was never right for you.
 Your "love" had me blind,
Nothing worked right in my mind.
I gave you my heart, my all
And I sure did feel the fall.
 Why did I ever care?
 You were never really there.
I played along with your games,
 Wow, what a shame.
 I could have been yours,
But now I can have so much more.
 You were never really mine,
But now I don't even mind,
Because when you shut the door,
You opened up a whole world more,
And now, finally, i can see
YOU were never right for ME.
