Should I reveal
My terrible secret?
Mother, please love me.
I know it’s not
What you want.
But it’s true,
What I feel.

If I say
What I feel,
My fear may grow
Into reality.
Mother, don’t hate me.
All I want
Acceptance, love.
I might get
Rejection, hate.
