They call it Utopia
They call it perfect
They call it harmonious
You call it happiness
I call it bleached

Bleach
White perfection
Eat
Inhale It
See what happens
You become a rock
As you drop to the ground

Show me Utopia
Show me where it’s hiding
I will lure it
Bait it
As you bleach it

Is it a word
An idea
Will it happen
Or do you just bleach hand-me-downs
And call it paradise
Bleach me and society
I don’t mind
One less insecurity
One less smile
One less provocative truth
Give us lies
Give us rags
Like children in Ethiopia
Give us the chemical fixer
Give us
Give me
Bleach

WOW...this truly is awesome. I can tell the power that you put into your writing and that's what makes it AMAZING. Using bleach as a symbol in your poem made it all the more powerful. Congrats on a great poem.

Clearly you weren't writing about bleach, and I personally love the fact that you challenge what everybody else thinks is utopia and I think it's absolutly amazing!
