I know you can see through my lies
the truth is hidden behind the sorrow in my eyes
it stifles all my pleading cries
so i put on my smile while the trail of tears dries
but i've got somthing to say before all the decency in me dies
for the first time baby in a long time baby
this is the truth
i love you
i long for your kiss
and for the warmth of your embrace
when you arms surround be
it's more than i can take
it's the one thing in my life that actually seems real.

I love this, but I think that the line "For the first time, baby, in a long time, baby" shouldn't have both "baby"s. Other than that, it's a wonderful poem!
