Forbidden, Foreign Feelings
I know I shouldn’t tell you this
But I just can’t hold on,
Hold back this feeling any longer,
Pulsating, throbbing, gushing from my heart.

 I find you irresistible,
And though you may not remember
 The time we had together;
 Brief, but oh so magical.

This emotion welling up within me
Is the purest I have ever felt
For any heart, or soul, or mind,
And yet I cannot find the words…

You stop me before I can speak,
You entrance me before I can prepare
My heart as it dances in double time
 Whenever you are near.

I’m sure that we can never be
 The way I secretly wish.
So as time goes by, I hope against hope
That your memory may mercifully fade.
