FAIRY TALE BLISS
True love?
That is too greatly shoved
At our younger youth
Now that is the truth.
The ‘dream’
Is just a scheme
And isn’t believed by our teens
For it only misleads.
How true that is,
The fairy tale bliss
Of true loves first kiss,
Is a complete miss.
Reality is so unkind,
That you can never find
A true love and be bind.
To get a divorce,
Is not a force
But what is the source?
You think you’re in love
But it’s just an illusion
And then you start the diffusion
You’ll say you were shot
By cupid’s arrow,
Then all you did was fought.
For the ‘love’
May fade away,
Or be hidden,
Though it is never forbidden.
It may still be there just hidden with care,
Or it could just flow out with the ease
Of air.
You’ll say it isn’t fair,
That is was too easy to tear.
I’m not saying that it doesn’t exist
I’m saying nothing is perfect,
Or smooth.
You just need a clue,
To fight for you
That I could do,
But would you do that for me?
That is the real question, you see…
