Depression To Happiness
Depression
The cry goes deep
It makes me weep
Depression
It robs me of my happiness
All I do is show is loneliness
Depression
The darkness creeps in
Feels just like sufferin
Depression
The happiness is just a ghost
Of the object I love most
Depression
I want to read a book
But all I do is look
Depression
The beckoning is dull
All I do is lull
Depression
She appears to help
And all I do is yelp
Depression
She calms me down
I start to drop my frown
Happiness
She’s there for me to help me grow
I decide to say no
Happiness
She smiles with a softness and a holds out a hand
I want to rule the land
Happiness
She leaves me to be
I don’t even flee
Happiness
After I calm down
There is no frown
Happiness
I grab a book and sit
In a little niche
Happiness

Hello Author of this Poem here. I just wanna say this is how it is for me because I struggle with deprrion and anxiety and this represents how it went, untill I was able to be regulated and normal again. I'm better now and in a good place. If you wanna hear more from me I'm going to write some more.
