Within
I've seen you shake,
 I've seen you cry.
 I've seen you fall
 and wonder why.

 And I wonder
 why we're dead.
 Why we're dead inside.

 So there you sit,
 all alone.
 Wasting away,
 your sorrow's grown.

 And all I want
 is to help.
 help you laugh inside.

 Listen to me,
 hear me out.
 Let me scrape
 away your doubt.

 Realize I'm here,
 waiting for you.
 Open up inside.

 I'll share your pain,
 I'll take your fear.
 Don't push me back,
 just let me near.

 And you won't fall
 if I catch you.
 You won't break inside.

 I keep trying
 to talk to you.
 You're hurting and
 you're struggling through.

 I'm hurting too,
 chasing you.
 I've lost myself inside.

 I'm falling down,
 you're falling too.
 I can't fix me,
 I can't help you.

 I try to find
 you in the dark.
 I hear your scream inside.

 I try to stand,
 forgetting how.
 I'm sorry but
 I'm losing now.

 I'm sorry that
 you lost your way.
 That you're trapped inside.

 And I wonder
 why we're dead.
 Why we're dead inside.

"Poetry and art are when you take decades of thought and condense it into a nifty little portable carrying case that people can see and go 'Oooh, Ahh'... and then forget about it. But what does it matter, so long as YOU remember it?" ~ Bela
This poem has a second part in artwork, however. The piece is located in the inks section, and is titled "WITHIN" as well. (advanced search will likelye work alot better to find it than the normal search)
