Her Eyes
A few months ago I saw what I now loathe.
In the mirror, in MY reflection I see what I've failed to notice, until now.
Above my nose, below my forehead.
MY eyes, or well they should be.
My eyes have that same emptiness, that same deppressed look.
I KNOW those eyes, those eyes dying for a twinkle.
They're her eyes.
I remember her eyes more than ever now.
All I do is look into the mirror and I see her.
All those times I visited, you never really smiled.
A smirk here and there, but now I know your eyes gave away EVERYTHING.
You were deppressed, sad, careless.
You felt like I feel.
Even in the picture we took, you didn't even smile.
You couldn't even manipulate your mouth to seem happy.
But even if you did I'd see YOUR EYES, her eyes.
I want new eyes, brighter eyes anything but her eyes.
Her eyes never smiled
Her eyes never *twinkled*
Her eyes were empty
Her eyes, My eyes, the same.
ANYTHING BUT HER EYES!!!!
