A place for the people to live ,

and thrive as they grow up and eventually die. 

The land and sea that it will give 

Until the time comes for the people to say goodbye 

The world gives everything to us 

Yet we never seem to give it anything in return 

Nothing positive at least 

Only pollution from things like the bus 

No matter what we do, 

Our damages cannot be repaid 

Even if we try to see it through, 

The bad things we’ve done is all that is made. 

And so, I make this ode to the world 

The place that makes our lives great 

It gives us the food that we eat, the water we drink, 

And the air that we breathe, free of charge.
