The Things I never Asked For
Whoever made you believe I was born this way
Or that I want to be like this
Certainly have you under some mind control
Because I never asked for any of it

I never asked for an abusive father
who doesn’t know how to treat his daughter
  I never asked bratty sisters
Or to live in this rat hole

I never asked to leave my home, my country, my family y
The people that I have always known
I never asked for my heart to be ripped out
And to be thrown to the vultures
I never asked for the sleepless nights
 When I toss and turn
Or for the neglect and pain and brutal torture,
I never asked for any of it, but it’s all I now know

And I come to a mixed conclusion
Of why all these things came to be.
It’s for the obvious reasons that God doesn’t love me
