Calling of Recognition
Walking into the door from the outside cold
Feel the blast of warmth from the building inside and hits her with a gust
Looking around to see food spread along the table
Just like a showcase, it calls for her
At the end of the night, it's not as scrumptious looking
The food is now leftovers, now aged
The food is more of an eye sore than a mouth water
But it kept her warm, nourished her body and it was delicious
The creation of life is everywhere
Watching as people or things grow and grow
Learning and becoming someone, something
But they eventually stop growing
Stop learning, but teaching
She becomes nourished with knowledge, to give life and lessons to the new
She loses her mouth-watering look to allow others to experience
She is now wise, the gust of warm wind guiding young
At the end of the night becoming aged doesn't have to be negative
