The door is ajar.

She stepped over years of memories.

Shattered and crushed on the floor.

Off to the bedroom, sees nothing left

I watch troubled from across the street

As she breaks down crying,

wondering how it all came to this.

But I won't let fear control me,

Cameras have never gone up faster

I need to be prepared for any visitors

that may come unwanted.

I get a notification on my phone

Is it dangerous, or are they friendly?

Misinformation is a danger by itself.

It's hard to know the truth, 

Safety comes with a cost. 

Whether it is cameras, neighborhood safety apps,

I just want to be informed. 

Packages go missing, houses get destroyed.

As I open the door to grab my package,

I feel reassured,

that this misinformation crisis won't affect me.
