Social Criticism - connected

Scientists say we have evolved,

But have we?

Sure the industrial revolution 

Was an amazing thing 

Right?

Because now 

we have these hand-held devices

That we take everywhere with us

The Bathroom, the Store, our Room, the School

Now almost everyone 

has a smartphone of a sort

Now of course it’s amazing that we can all stay 

Connected 

But when people are choosing their phone 

Over going outside and getting the sun 

We need to survive

When people are choosing their phone 

over doing something with their kids

It seems as if we have evolved backward

 in a way

At least we are all connected 

Right?
