WWR (world wide racism)
Racism is a beast, a scourge, a blight,
That poisons our souls and dims our light.
It comes in many forms, both subtle and bold,
And it tears at the fabric of our society, taking hold.
It's in the color of our skin, the shape of our eyes,
The sound of our voice, the way we disguise
Our true selves, to fit in with the crowd,
Afraid to speak out, to say it loud.
It's in the way we judge, the way we fear,
The way we hold others back, year after year.
It's in the way we build walls, both real and imagined,
And the way we deny others the right to be human.
But there is hope, in the power of love,
In the strength of our voices, in the push and the shove
Of those who have fought, and those who still do,
To tear down the walls, to make something new.
So let us stand up, let us speak out,
Let us fight for justice, without any doubt.
For racism is a beast, a scourge, a blight,
But love can conquer all, and bring us into the light.
