Bleeding Flower
Her Chrysanthemum heart
Frowns upon my balmy chest
Its ivory corolla bitterly tart
Tainted with the ebony art
Of heartbreak’s crest
Her room overcast and blue
She wept in disarray
Her forest stems that once grew
Beneath a love-struck hue
Now uprooted, a grimy gray
Heart’s satin petals withered
Garnet pooling in its core
In the smoky gale, she quivered
Amongst Miseria’s blizzard
She shivered, doused in ruby pour
She cursed her biting tears
And flimsy floral ignorance
Pouring down, crimson smears
Sobs pealing in my ears
Sunk in frigid sorrow’s fragrance
