Being a kid is hard too

Adults think that being a kid is so easy but it's not,

It's full of stress and anxiety

You're self conscious all the time even though everybody thinks your not  

no matter what anyone tells you you will always be ugly

There is the stress of school and having to always  be the best 

you're always being put up against each other

You are compared by your smarts, your height, your status, and the letter on your test

No matter what you do you'll never be doing it right 

Kids are mean, they always feel like they have to share their opinions.

They make fun of you for no reason at all

it's hard on you but no one truly cares

Your friends only care about themselves 

Just like everybody else 

adults think of you as just a kid. 

NO ONE CARES ABOUT A STUPID KID!

I thought this part of your life was supposed to be easy 

it's not, my eyes and head hurt, my mental health is spiraling out of control

My therapist doesn't understand me 

honestly no one does 

They don't care about me either 

If they did care then they would know that I don't want to be here most days,

they would know that I can't sleep

They would know my smiles are fake

they would know that I'll never be smart enough

That I'll never be good enough 

Pretty enough

Skinny enough 

Popular enough 

and they'd know I really don't want to think
