My World
Our eyes meet, a special greeting
Although when I see you I feel like screaming
I want to love you with every fiber of my being
But I’ve been hurt so many times I don’t know if my heart can keep beating
I want to smile and laugh and dance and shout
I want to yell until my lungs give out
I want to see our future through a crystal ball
So I could tell if this is worth it all

I read this piece when I am missing my s/o and find peace when my eyes rest on these words because I know that I wouldn't have changed anything for the world in the end.
