"Nothing like ADHD and a good fight to the death to make time fly" - By Rick Riordan

In shadows draped, their masks beguiling,

These friends appear, their falsehoods smiling.

With whispers sweet, their tongues deceive,

A labyrinth of lies they do conceive.

They dance upon the fragile thread of trust,

Their eyes betraying the deceitful lust.

Their feigned camaraderie, a charade so sly,

Like porcelain masks, their smiles belie.

Beneath the surface, toxic seeds take root,

A friendship shallow, devoid of truth.

They flit like butterflies from friend to friend,

An illusion of loyalty, they pretend.

But oh, dear friend, do not despair,

For in disguise, a blessing lies there.

Fake friends, like weeds, show strength of soul,

For they reveal true friends who make us whole.

Through adversity, true bonds arise,

Love fortified, defying the lies.

In wisdom's forge, friendships are refined,

A sacred union, infinitely intertwined.

So let not deceit bring your spirit low,

For authenticity's warmth will surely glow.

Fake friends, like ephemeral mist, fade away,

Leaving space for true souls to fill your day.

Embrace the lessons learned, the scars obtained,

From these fake friends, integrity's flame sustained.

For in the depths of darkness, the truth will shine,

And your soul's kin will illuminate your lifeline.
