Purple Flowers

I try to persuade myself that these purple flowers will brighten my rainy day.
he loves me, he loves me not.
Purple Petals stick to the wet pavement.
he loves me, he loves me not.
I glance quickly behind me, and there on that dark sidewalk, a not-so-perfect trail of electric purple.
he loves me, he loves me not.
remind me never to rely on purple
..flowers..

I like it. It is short, but I feel that it has a lot of meaning behind it...and don't forget...don't trust the purple flowers [or of any color] trust me....They don't work
