My Rainy Days
The blank gray sky, as empty as your eyes.
The warm air departs, as cold as your heart.
Such soft sounds you make, I cannot stay awake.
When my eyes tear,
I feel your presence is near.
With the thought of rain, I tremble in fear.
Yet if there were no rain,
Life would have all the more pain.
So when my eyes become dry, I know you are saying your goodbyes.
