So the music is running in the background
The guys are wearing crowns
The girls are wearing gowns
And the dead aren't even wearing frowns

Waltz to the midnight
Waltz in my bedroom to the blue of the moonlight
Waltz into the child's blight
The midnight waltz in my bedroom, what a sight

Just like a masquerade, your mask covers your face
And the lamp in the corner turns into a ballroom, a moonlit place
Spill a little red punch, nobody can notice a trace
Moonlight Sonata: dance on top of my terrace

Waltz in the dining room
Bring a corpsepaint costume
Hey, pianist, put on a tune of impending doom
Freeze where you are----resume.

The wine in the corner sparkled red, and the glass made a crack
And the masks turned back,

Waltz in the battlefield
Dance until our fate is sealed
Your mask is your shield
Here comes the dealer of death, and 3...2...1...the cards are revealed.

A political poem. Try to find out the meaning yourself :)

So, I'm not exactly sure on the political meaning, but I really like it! Care to try my riddle? I'd love for you to.

Well, you're sort of right. It's about Vietnam too.

hmmm... I'm thinking Iraq war? but I could be wrong, maybe the protests in Iran? Uhg, being an MSNBC addict, I should be able to figure it out, but I'm not so great with extended metaphores.
