17 months, over 400 days
And still you haven’t picked up the phone.
Maybe you’re scared and you have a reason to be,
And maybe you’re embarrassed but hell you should be.
Disappearing won’t work with me no more.
I’m done I don’t care how close we were.

Last time you did this to me I fixed all your wounds,
Because I was sure that you’d never open them again,
But you did.
Now you don’t know where to turn,
And I won’t be waiting for you no more.

Over a year you’ve missed out on me.
I’ve been growing but how would you know.
My life is changing where has your gone?
Right down the gutter where it belongs.

Cause last time you did this to me I fixed all your wounds,
Because I was sure that you’d never open them again,
But you did.
Now you don’t know where to turn,
And I won’t be waiting for you no more.

No, I’m not happy why should I be,
Because you left me?
Really do you expect that of me?
Do you really think I’m as shallow as you?
I think you know better than that.
Yes, you do.

Hey, boy, get your sorry *** over here,
And don’t you dare just give the answers I want to hear.
Why the hell did you have to go?
Why couldn’t you have just let me know?
What made you come back in town?
Do you have any regrets now?

That your back in town,
And you haven’t picked up that phone,
And I want to know,
Cause I deserve some answers,
Because I was the one who
Stood up for you
When no one else had the guts to.
