Too long I’ve put on your makeup,
Helped you prepare for your grand entrance.
You may be the magician,
But everyone knows the assistant’s got a few tricks up her own sleeves.
And she knows how to do it right –
After all, she did learn from the best.
So enjoy your limelight now.
But you watch me –
I’m ready,
And one day,
