You MAG
inspired by Pablo Neruda
Light falls around you,
like deep water
caressing your curves
as my hands long to do.
Your shadows
mingle with the light
in seductive dance
drawing patterns
that make me blush.
Every move, every breath
of yours,
stills mine,
held captive by love,
and your perfection.
The darkness paints you
with intimate accents
as you turn in a crescendo
of sight
giving view to the fire within
then gone as you turn again.
I close my eyes
to savor your image
upon opening
I glimpse your retreat
the light and dark play
and make me
weep.
