No Longer Unread
I lock myself in and cry on the floor
Because no one can see me from behind the door
I look out my window and scream to the stars
And wish I could be where you are
I wish you could help me fight this war
Even though I'm not sure what I'm fighting for
Because the love has died out, it's not coming back
And my life is a wreck, so far from on track
Where am I going, where have I been
Can you forgive me for all of my sins
The scars have stopped- too soon for my taste
But at least my days are no longer a waste
I'm no longer a book, left unread on a shelf
It's time to give up on hurting myself

I wrote this pretty much right after I converted. I got a lot of poems out of when I was Christian.
