Blank Verse MAG

leaving behind

trademark blots

of

blue ink.

Sometimes

I try to

I remember.

Those days

I would write and

publish,

but now

my refrigerator door

stays empty

and cold.

Magnetic fruit beg for a purpose.

I sit.

At a blank screen

where the cruel cursor

winks at me,

in mockery.

I used to know how.

I would type and create

masterpieces.

In just thirty minutes,

I'd have my own Bob Ross painting.

But now the words vanish,

as I search for the next thing to write ...

love it! :) Sometimes when I can't figure out what to say, that's exactly what I need to say.

Are you sure this is blank verse? I thought blank verse was 14 lines long like Shakespeare uses.

Sounds like someone who thinks they're funny/cool/hardcore/whatever you think would cause people to care how nerdy you think they are. And since when is it not awesome to be a nerd? Thank you, sir, much obliged for that unintended compliment.

If we all need to get a life, then where does that put you? Cause you obviously have enough time to check out the work on this site.... You're completely contradicting yourself....

I love this. I find it so interesting the way this poem is about how you can't think of what to write this poem about.
