Alcohol Was Your Way Out Darlin, i Still Love You

A silenced scream
in the black of night
the voice utters
with such fright
warmth floods my chest
a tear has fallen,
such a cruel world
will i be forgotten?
A record stopped
in the middle of a song
with my eyes closed
i will still sing along
hold me,
hold me close,
don't cry
i'll fight
my song will not end
the dance has just began.
his blood was toxic.
smell strong on his breath
he apologized
for my death
a turn
not turned in time
my life stoped on a dime
for your damned addiction
comes my affliction.
