It's Raining Crickets
It’s raining crickets and raining men
 Raining unwanted things like me
The band is playing, the team in playing
 Playing and losing like me
The crickets are dying and I’m stuck crying
 For reasons unwanted, like me
 Friends-to-be-thought aren’t so anymore
 Sisters are shrugging off hugs
Long silent daddies are being self centered
And tears are sliding down throats
I’m throwing the game, throwing the day
Get rid of the things like me
I’m dreaming tonight, dreaming of grey
 Dreaming of running away
I’m covering down, covering for you
 Covering up thoughts like me
It’s raining crickets and raining men
 Raining unwanted things like me
