Dark Tranquilities
October 28, 2009
Fractured inside my shell,
as I wonder what is about me.
Confused with curious assumptions,
while solace inches me to breathe.
Darkness consuming me,
as it pushes me deeper into my slumber.
A dream, awakening me,
sprouting me out to what lies asunder.

Thank you so much! That's exactly the way I feel. It's nice to know that you actually understand it. I figured no one could comprehend what any of my work meant. So it's really nice to know that there's someone else out there who actually gets the imagery I express. Thanks again!

His phrase about solace inching him to breathe makes perfect sense. Solace can mean to comfort, but it also means- 2. comfort in sorrow, misfortune, or trouble. Finding comfort in the misfortune of his mind brings him to continue breathe. To me, it makes perfect sense. Maybe you'd have to feel like the author to understand.
