What if the world were flat? Would water cascade off the sides in shimmering beauty and be engulfed by the dark, blackness of space? Would trees grow taller, trying to stretch towards the heavens, to touch the blue crystal like surface? Would you fall off, hands reaching, but never quiet touching the surface? Would penguins fly, unable to keep to the ground they had lost? Would whales talk, trying to question why the oceans ate not as deep? Would cats bark and dogs meow, throughly confused at teh mere mention of earths flat lands? Would all this happen, and may be more, if mother earth were flat at all?
