Why do these horrid people dream of these horrid, evil deeds?
Oh Why? Why do they dream of these horrid, evil deeds?
Their revolting ideas of sacrifice, their evil always exceeds.

They just go and kill, all the time, for no reason at all.
They just have to go and kill, for no reason at all.
They do what they want, and just let the lesser take the fall.

It repeats itself again and again through all time.
It just keeps repeating again and again through all time.
They always think nothing of it; those people are worthless, not worth our time.

It doesn’t ever matter when, it doesn’t ever matter where.
It never ever matters when, it never ever matters where.
No one ever seems to get it, they move on, don’t really seem to care.

Just think about it, how many times can you remember a war?
Really, just think about it, how many times can you remember a war?
Even those who were persecuted, beaten, and poor yearn for that forgotten distant shore.

Why do these horrid people dream of these horrid, evil deeds?
Oh Why? Why do they dream of these horrid, evil deeds?
They’re revolting ideas of sacrifice, their evil always exceeds.

Our world is today and was then full of evil and hate.
Why is our world today and then so full of evil and hate?
They say they won’t, they’re sorry but they are just waiting for you to take the bait.

You wonder and dream, think I can stop it, but the problem is no one ever does it.
You wonder and dream, think I can stop it, but the problem is no one ever does it.
The phrase “World Peace Will Come” doesn’t really seem to fit.

This is called a blues poem, being that it is about something that gives you the blues. I found that this topic wasn't about one thing, but life itself.
