I am glossy,
 I give a soft ticking sound,
 As the seconds, and minutes, pass by.
 I come in all different shapes and sizes,
 You pass by me
 Like I’m not even there.
 I should be at least grateful
 That sometimes you would stop and stare…
 I’m on the wall,
 Or on a desk or wrist.
 Take a glance at me,
 Acknowledge me,
 Come on,
 Take the risk.
 Rough or smooth,
 Nick or grove,
 But I still have that nice, soft, ticking sound…
