"Nah. You didn’t fall to your death. I jumped after you with a parachute." August 24th

One day you’ll see,
That this doesn’t matter.
That the world isn’t set in stone,
That you can pave your own way home.

One day you’ll see,
That you’re not alone.
That people aren’t invisible,
That someone sees you for what you are.

One day you’ll see,
That the world isn’t black or white.
That it’s gray, blue, yellow and green,
That you can paint it the colors of the rainbow with a flick of your wrist.

One day you’ll see,
That life is long.
That life is short,
That it’s a path to find your own interpretation of time.

One day you’ll see,
That words move like flowery dressed dancers.
That they are obtrusive, elusive and constructive.
That they hurt and sooth in the same way.

One day you’ll see,
That what you see isn’t what is.
That the shadows carry light.
That the light harbors shadows.

One day you’ll see,
That home is where you are safe.
That the world cannot preside over you with its own justice.

One day you’ll see,
That where you are,
Is a marvelous place to be.
