Graduation is approaching fast,
I thought high school would always last.
Moving forward makes me want to cheer,
But, in the back of my mind I think,
Where do I go from here?

My beautiful school has become my home,
Obliviously down the halls I roam.
I’ve always thought there was nothing to fear,
But, in the back of my mind I think,
Where do I go from here?

I know I will never forget my friends,
But no one remembers that high school will end.
Everyone’s off to college to train for their careers,
But, in the back of mind I think,
Where do I go from here?

So much passes through my mind,
When thinking of the future, my thoughts become blind.
Stress and worry constantly consume me,
But then I realize, nothing in this world is guaranteed.
I’m on a journey to become the best I can be.
And I know in my heart there’s no way to see
Where I am going from here.
