Rain
The loud pitter-patter of rain,
Echoing loudly in my ears,
Bouncing off of my umbrella,
So cold and drenched in gray,
Why do people love it?
The murky water falling at their feet,
The angry roar of thunder,
And the chill seeping through their bones.
Soaking through their shoes,
Icy bullets falling fast,
Windy air blows fatigue,
And depression splashes up from every puddle.
