Who is this man
Who is this man
With a grand plan.
To save us all,
From a terrible fall.
Why struggle for us?
The one’s nobody trusts.
Why stand tall, and willing?
Why give me this energetic feeling?
Each sentence he speaks has good meaning.
This man begins leaning.
His lean turns into a fall.
Someone gives a loud call.
I can’t make it out over the crowds roar.
Some are running others hit the floor.
Why lay in a puddle of paint,
And why red instead of pink.
They're shouting “he’s dead, he’s dead”.
But what’s the name of the man lying in red.
Then I heard the strangest thing.
Someone screams “Dr. Martin Luther King”.
