His presence sinks my heart
Slowly falling to the pit of darkness that leads to my soul
His presence brings me regret
Slowly falling through the empty spaces that circulate my mind
His presence delivers sorrow
Slowly falling from my lonely eyes once so filled with passion
His presence brings nostalgia
Experiences I’ve worked so hard to chase out of my memory
His presence is like a lingering spirit
And a shadow that constantly chases my body
And as much as I try to run away
His presence will always be my tail
