Need a short separation from the real world.
And inhale the scent of my dreams.
Take a breather from what is expected,
And live in the realm of what I believe.
Gained a short tolerance for the norms.
And am in need of something bizarre.
Take the wounds that I have to the next level.
Why not turn them into everlasting scars?
Need a quick shot of sympathy from you.
And watch as it disappears quicker than it came.
This time the floor won't be plastered with tears because,
I never expected the ice around your heart to melt, anyway.
Still not wanting to see the mouths move.
Yet still have to endure the fists being thrown.
Take me to the city and take me to the lights,
So others can see that I have grown
