Yes we can
Staring out that first grade window
Watching our world go into flames
Watching that lady cry like a widow coweing inside like captured dames
To little to know what it means
Old enough to know on what it leans
Year by year we grow stronger
What happened that day thrust upon our heart like a dagger
Forever will we remember
All those who died in the ember
Our love will not die
Only get so high
Rest in peace
All those who are now deceased
Through the think and thin we never gave in
We kept our faces straight while our enemies could do nothing but grin
We fought for the rights and protection of our kin
Never once did we give in
