A Dream
At night I dream,
Nothing but bundles of razzmatazz far back in my mind.
Mysterious places flashing at me,
Temptation pulling at my feet to walk closer,
My mind driven by expectation.
The laughter of a young girl echoes in the background.
As I turn the corner, her face appears,
Her mischievous smile spreads.
Noises far and wide squeeze through the thick air.
A feeling comes over my body,
As though being twitter-pated by the sound.
The air wraps itself around me,
Stuck in a pickle of a situation,
No longer an individual.
I wake on a cloud,
Only to be disappointed by my bed,
As the laughter continues to echo in my mind.
