Too Much of a Good Thing
The sculptures are all of the same person.
The paintings are all of the same vision.
The poems are all of the same emotion.
The songs are all of the same note.
Art flounders on the slope of creation
When there is too much similar inspiration,
When there are too many great minds thinking alike,
All equal in conclusion and might.
Too few are the Muse to satisfy our expanding call,
A floral despair blooms in us all.
