Seize life
With all you’ve got,
Because you never can tell
When fate will take it,
And toss it.
Hurtling down the steep slope
To rest among
The inferno below.
You will have to stand silent,
Watching,
As your life
Spins appallingly out of control.
Beyond repair,
Never to be resurrected,
Never to stand with its former glory.
So seize life
For all you’ve gained,
And look to the present.
Never back,
Nor forward,
Live for now.
