Gazing at the vague image
Of the pale moon
Against the placid lake
With your arm
Tightly rapped around
Like an anaconda squeezing its prey
gently placing your warm hands on mine
Repeating continuously
I’ll return
I’ll love you forever
To only find out
Gazing at the pale moon
Gripping the long awaited crinkled response
Your presence is gone
