Identity
Dare I dream to know myself,
Or shall I dream to be someone else?
Is there something here for me?
I shall not know, for I'm not free.
Staring out the bedroom door,
I wonder if there's something more.
I have nothing of my own.
That what happens when you're alone.
Of my mind my logic comes,
Thoughts like clockwork, they do humm.
Spilling over in my mind,
Yet to me my logic does bind.
Identity, I do have now.
To lose it though, I'm not sure how.
I guess it shall forever be,
Me and my identity.
